Hobby Lobby plans new store in Hillsborough County

Hobby Lobby is planning another store in the Tampa Bay area.

The arts-and-crafts retailer is moving into a 49,106-square-foot space in Carrollwood Commons, a shopping center at the intersection of North Dale Mabry Highway and Ehrlich Road, according to building permits. Hobby Lobby is filling the former American Signature Furniture space; the Ohio-based furniture store closed all of its stores earlier this year after filing for bankruptcy.
