Tampa developer nears groundbreaking on more than 400 apartments in South St. Pete

A more than 400-unit mixed-use development in South St. Petersburg is ready to break ground.

Tampa-based developer Bayline Group is moving ahead with a 456-unit apartment development called Marinova at Coquina Key. The city approved a sitework permit and six multifamily construction permits totaling $44.2 million, according to St. Pete building records. The developer intends to break ground near the end of the year or in early 2027, a source familiar with the deal confirmed.
