Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville brand hotel coming to Sarasota waterfront

A local developer is planning a Margaritaville-branded hotel in Sarasota.

Steven Mullen and Angus Rogers of Sarasota-based Floridays Development and local restaurateur Mike Evanoff formed a joint venture to bring a four-story, 120-key Compass Hotel by Margaritaville to Osprey at 120 Bayview Drive, next to Evie’s at Spanish Point restaurant and tiki bar that will also be part of the waterfront hotel.
