Midtown Tampa developer to build Tampa Heights hotel, sources say

The developer of Midtown Tampa has set its sights on transforming a prime property in Tampa Heights.

New York-based Bromley Cos. is planning to redevelop Stetson University's Tampa Law Center property in Tampa Heights, sources familiar with the project told the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The redevelopment would be anchored by a hotel, though sources did not know the project's design details — such as the hotel flag, the number of stories or the number of keys.
