Developer plans 1,500 homes on Dade City cattle ranch

A developer wants to build over 1,000 homes on an active cattle pasture in Dade City.

GT USA in Fort Lauderdale submitted a Southwest Florida Water Management District permit for 1,500 single-family homes to span 1,745 acres of land on Grand Bar Ranch. The proposed development will be on the north side of State Road at Ehren Cutoff.
