Downtown St. Pete's 15-unit lakefront condo project starts construction ahead of schedule

A boutique condominium on Mirror Lake in downtown St. Petersburg has broken ground.

Backstreets Capital started construction on The Cade — the seven-story, 15-unit condo on Mirror Lake — with six units under contract, building permits and a $20.8 million loan in hand. The developer said the groundbreaking is earlier than expected.
