Cult burger chain White Castle is looking at Tampa Bay real estate

Ohio burger chain White Castle doesn’t have locations in the Tampa Bay region, as fans of the fast-food restaurant often lament in Facebook comments.

But Jamie Richardson, White Castle’s chief marketing officer, says it isn’t a lack of “cravers” that’s kept the chain out of Tampa Bay. It’s a lack of real estate that fits its needs — but it’s closer than ever to landing here. (“Cravers,” as White Castle calls them, are fans of its square sliders and onion straws.)
