13-story dual-flag hotel to break ground in downtown Tampa's Channel district

A Tampa hospitality developer will break ground on a 13-story, dual-flag hotel in the city’s Channel district on Tuesday.

McKibbon Hospitality will mark the official start of construction of AC Hotel and Moxy Hotel Tampa Downtown, which will rise at 111 N. Meridian Ave., just north of apartment tower 101 N. Meridian. It will have 310 keys, 175 AC and 135 Moxy rooms. It is slated to open in early 2028.
