Hundreds of apartments to replace Office Depot near South Tampa

A 320-unit apartment complex could rise in place of an Office Depot off North Dale Mabry Highway.

The Office Depot at 211 N Dale Mabry Hwy. will be razed to make way for a seven-story multifamily project dubbed The Mabry. The site is part of Tampa Commons, a retail center owned by RMC Property Group. The development from Altamonte Springs-based LeCesse Development Corp. is projected to cost $68 million, according to a building permit filed March 18.
