Pasco farmland to become RV resort and 250-room hotel

A property near Moody Lake in Pasco County will be developed into an RV resort and a four-story hotel.

County commissioners approved plans in a 3-2 vote at a Jan. 6 meeting to develop a 350 RV park and 250-room hotel in Dade City at the intersection of Lake Iola Road and Johnston Road. New Port Richey-based developer Dhruv Development is proposing the 131-acre North Pasco Resort, the project's name. The site sits on agricultural land and has been approved for a master-planned development unit zoning.
