Downtown St. Pete steakhouse that never opened has been evicted

A highly anticipated downtown St. Petersburg steakhouse has been evicted without ever opening to the public.

Tricera Capital, a Miami-based real estate investment firm, owns the old Union Trust bank building at 895 Central Ave., where J. Fiore’s Contemporary Steakhouse was set to open. The restaurant announced its location in 2023 but never opened.
