Bern's sidekick restaurant Haven could be demolished, rebuilt

A longtime staple of the South Tampa happy hour scene could be demolished and rebuilt.

Haven, a sister restaurant to Bern's Steak House, may be replaced with a new concept called Obtuse Restaurant, plans filed Thursday with the Southwest Water Management District show. Haven, which sits at the intersection of West Morrison and Howard avenues, is currently just over 9,200 square feet; Obtuse will be 8,868 square feet with 64 parking spaces.
