Tampa's Robles Park Village razed for $800 million redevelopment

Demolition has begun on one of Tampa's oldest public housing projects, paving the way for an $800 million mixed-income community.

On Monday, the Tampa Housing Authority, along with Banc of America Community Development Company and PMG Affordable, began demolition of Robles Park Village, which opened in 1954. The demolition will kickstart the construction of a new 35-acre, multi-phased mixed-use community.
