One of Tampa's largest architecture firms enters NYC market in merger deal

One of Tampa Bay’s largest architecture firms is expanding to the Northeast through a merger with New York-New Jersey-based JRS Architect.

BDG Architects, the design firm behind the remodel of Tampa’s iconic steakhouse Berns, is gaining a foothold in the greater New York City market and expanding its headcount to 150 professionals. BDG ranks as the eighth-largest firm in Tampa Bay, with 132 professionals across the Southeast, and nearly $40 million in revenue last year.
