Trump objects to terms of SimDag's bankruptcy

A Sept. 29 mediation between New York mogul Donald Trump and his erstwhile Tampa business partners SimDag LLC ended in a settlement that severed their ties on Trump Tower Tampa. Or so they said. Trump has jumped back into the fray by objecting to SimDag's Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization plan. The brash New Yorker was out $2.1-million when his licensing deal with SimDag went sour. Lacking a loan, SimDag never built the 52-story luxury condo tower as promised. In a court filing Dec. 31, Trump's lawyer said the conditions of the September settlement "presently have not been met" and pressed the bankruptcy court not to let SimDag off the hook.
