BROOKSVILLE Without discussion, the County Commission on Wednesday voted unanimously to rezone 1,385 acres for the massive Sunrise project located southeast of Interstate 75 and State Road 50. The project, which in 2007 won county approval for a develop of regional impact, will be a mixed-use development. Plans call for up to 4,200 homes, 600 multifamily units, 75 motel units, 325,000 square feet of retail space, offices and mini warehouses as well as other amenities.
