The $28-million purchase last week of an industrial park proves real estate investors are still keen for the Tampa-area properties. The buyer of the 330,000-square-foot Breckenridge Park near Interstate 4 and U.S. 301 was the Adler Group Inc., based in Miami. Despite a huge overall decline in commercial property sales, the family-run firm has been on a Florida and nationwide buying spree. The seller was America's Capital Partners L.L.C., which has owned the multibuilding industrial park for years.
