Pinellas Park Walgreens redevelopment to make way for two drive-thru chains

A Pinellas Park Walgreens could be redeveloped into two popular drive-thrus: a coffee chain and a fast-food burger joint.

Walgreens, which sits on a nearly 2-acre property across the street from The Shoppes at Park Place, will be demolished and replaced with a Shake Shack and Dutch Bros, according to plans the Pinellas Park Planning and Zoning Commission approved Oct. 1. The project, proposed by Tampa-based Wagner Property Group, requires final city council approval in November.
