Maryland pickleball chain to open third Tampa Bay location in Brandon

An existing warehouse unit will soon be reimagined into an indoor pickleball facility in a Tampa suburb, as the sport continues its rapid rise as one of the nation’s most widely played and fastest-growing sports.

Maryland-based Dill Dinkers Pickleball is planning a 17,000-square-foot pickleball facility in Brandon at 8105 Krauss Blvd., according to a permit filed with Hillsborough County. The site is currently occupied by a nearly 48,000-square-foot, multitenant warehouse building, but a portion of it will be renovated to make way for the sports facility.
