Fortune 500 company plans Gasworx office

A Fortune 500 company that sells plumbing, HVAC and other building supplies will open an office in Ybor City’s Gasworx — and is rumored to be plotting an even larger expansion in Tampa in the years ahead.

Ferguson, based in Newport News, Virginia, has leased 50,570 square feet in the Gasworx office building that’s under construction, Gasworx master developer Kettler said Thursday. With Ferguson, Gasworx’s 110,000-square-foot office building is fully leased. Grow Financial Credit Union leased 50,000 square feet in the building in 2023. (The remaining 10,000 square feet is dedicated to amenity space, including a lobby cafe and bar.) The building is set to wrap up construction by the end of the year; Moss is the general contractor.
