Power Design joins Historic Gas Plant District redevelopment team to lead workforce training efforts

One of Pinellas County’s largest employers has joined the development team selected to redevelop the 86-acre site where Tropicana Field sits.

St. Petersburg-based Power Design joined The Burg Bid team, led by Blake Investment Partners, as a skilled trades and workforce development partner for the Historic Gas Plant District redevelopment. Through its Build the Nation initiative, Power Design will spearhead workforce development efforts by creating an interactive skilled trades experience within the workforce training and small business success center the Blake team proposed in its bid.
