Target appears to be planning a store in Apollo Beach.

A 149,000-square-foot store is in the works at 6981 Covington Garden Drive, off of Interstate 75 and near the intersection of Covington Garden Drive and Big Bend Road, according to building plans filed with Hillsborough County. It will be an anchor of the 137-acre LC Promenade and Marketplace at Apollo Beach, developed by Columbus, Ohio-based Lifestyle Communities.
