Developer to bring 200 workforce housing units to Sarasota

A local developer has plans to deliver hundreds of workforce housing apartments in a new mixed-use development in Sarasota.

On Thursday, Sarasota-based One Stop Housing filed a Southwest Florida Water Management District permit for just over 200 multifamily units at 2211 Fruitville Road. The $29.9 million development, called Sarasota Station, will span just under 5 acres.
