Brandon apartments sell for roughly half of 2022 white-hot pricing

A suburban Tampa apartment complex that traded in the aftermath of the region's post-Covid real estate boom has sold for a fraction of its previous price.

Cortland Santos Flats has sold to apartment giant Camden Property Trust for $64.7 million or $218,000 per apartment, Hillsborough County property records show. That's a 46% decline from 2022, when Atlanta-based Cortland Partners paid $119.8 million or $405,000 per apartment for the 296-unit complex.
