St. Pete's former Raytheon site set for September groundbreaking for over 1,000 apartments

The former Raytheon Technologies campus in St. Petersburg is closer to becoming over 1,000 apartments.

Clearwater-based Porter Development has tentatively scheduled a groundbreaking for September, according to a spokesperson. The project, called Azalea Gateway Apartments, will consist of 1,056 units off the Pinellas Trail at 1501 72nd St. N and will be built in three phases. Vertical construction permits for phase one are currently in process with the city.
