Iconic flea market sells for $13.9M to make way for apartment complex

The iconic Oldsmar Flea Market has been sold to a multifamily developer, making way for what could be nearly 300 apartments.

Kolter Multifamily closed on the 19-acre property June 25. It acquired the flea market for $13.9 million from Oldsmar Track LLC, which is tied to St. Petersburg developer Grady Pridgen. The Delray Beach-based developer plans to build five apartment buildings on 13 acres of the site at the corner of Tampa Road and Racetrack Road.
