Pinellas housing redevelopment targets early 2027 groundbreaking for third phase

The third phase of a major redevelopment of Pinellas County Housing Authority’s public housing community is targeting a groundbreaking early next year.

Newstar Development and the housing authority are co-developing the transformation of the Rainbow Village public housing community, replacing 200 aging units with roughly 400 new affordable housing units for seniors, families and individual workers across four phases.
