Chick-fil-A demands stop order for new Cava location in Lutz

Chick-fil-A Inc. is seeking a court order to shut down a new location that Cava opened in Cypress Creek Town Center in Lutz this week.

The popular Atlanta-based chicken chain claims an easement agreement in place since 2016 prohibits any restaurant that serves chicken as a primary menu item from specific outparcels within the shopping center, according to a complaint filed in Pasco County Circuit Court on June 26.
