Canadian homebuilder pays $8.6M for homesites in Pasco community

One of Tampa Bay's largest homebuilders has acquired nearly 150 homesites in a 2,500-home master-planned community in Pasco County.

Toronto, Canada-based Mattamy Homes acquired 145 homesites in Verona, located along State Road 52 in Land O' Lakes. The homebuilder purchased land for the homes on June 5 for $8.56 million, according to a deed filed with the county. Home sales are targeted to begin next summer.
