Waldorf Astoria in downtown St. Pete is close to starting construction

St. Petersburg’s tallest tower is inching toward a groundbreaking this year.

The Waldorf Astoria Residences St. Petersburg hit another presales milestone last week as it surpassed $200 million in sales. National developer PMG and St. Pete-based co-developer Feldman Equities announced plans for the tower in 2024. The project is expected to break ground this year, and on Friday, the development team submitted a site work permit for the 50-story tower.
