Motor-themed restaurant on nearly 5 acres in Pinellas Park closing as part of nationwide shutdowns

A motor-themed restaurant in Pinellas Park will shutter next month, creating a potential redevelopment opportunity on nearly 5 acres.

Quaker Steak & Lube, which has operated at 10400 49th St. N since 2003, will shut its doors July 5, according to a social media post. Parent company JDK Management, which also manages Perkins Restaurants, is closing several of its Quaker Steak and Lube locations nationwide. The restaurant ownership group owns the Pinellas Park property, but it’s unclear whether the site will be listed for sale.
