Since Patrick Zalupski’s first public appearance as owner of the Tampa Bay Rays, the vision has been clear: build a stadium in Tampa surrounded by apartments, hotels, shops and restaurants.

What’s not known are any specifics of the mixed-use development set to transform Hillsborough College’s 130 acres on North Dale Mabry Highway, for which the team has signed a 99-year lease at a cost of $10 per year.
