Tampa developer with several local projects accused of fraud

A Tampa design firm has accused a local real estate developer and his South Florida-based partner of defrauding investors and contractors on more than a dozen projects.

Associated Space Design Florida Inc. claims Leonard Burke and Miles Alexander of Fort Lauderdale real estate firm Alexander Goshen used aliases and various entities to improperly obtain development rights and funding for the projects, according to a complaint filed in Hillsborough County Circuit Court on April 6.
