USF receives $24 million from Hillsborough County for former Claw golf course redevelopment

The University of South Florida has received $24 million from Hillsborough County for the redevelopment of the former Claw golf course.

Commissioner Ken Hagan, who brought the item forward, said he recognized it was a significant investment, but that the county had a long history of partnering with USF on infrastructure. The commission unanimously approved the investment.
