Publix pays $32 million for Apollo Beach shopping center

Publix Super Markets Inc. has purchased its real estate in South Hillsborough County.

The Lakeland-based grocer paid $32.5 million for Shops at Big Bend, a shopping center where it is the anchor tenant. The seller was Boos Development, a Clearwater-based company that developed the shopping center in 2021.
