Foot Locker is scaling back its plans for St. Petersburg, sources say

Foot Locker is downsizing its plans for a St. Petersburg office following the company's acquisition by Dick's Sporting Goods.

Real estate sources, who asked not to be named due to the sensitivity of the situation, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal that Foot Locker plans to occupy less than the nearly 111,000 square feet it leased at 570 Carillon Parkway earlier this year — and possibly as little as less than half the space. The remainder of the space could be subleased, sources said, though it is not yet being marketed.
