Houston real estate investor buys St. Pete apartment complex

A Houston-based real estate firm acquired a St. Petersburg apartment complex for an undisclosed amount.

Provenza at St. Pete, a 308-unit multifamily community in the Gateway submarket of St. Pete, sold to Hilltop Residential, which has renamed the complex Palmera Gateway. Miami-based Momentum Real Estate Partners purchased the asset in 2019 for $70.25 million. A deed for the transaction has not yet been filed in Pinellas County property records.
