Madeira Beach buys waterfront property for $18M

Madeira Beach has purchased a vacant waterfront property at the city’s entrance for $18 million.

The city closed on the 4.6-acre lot off the Tom Stuart Causeway last week, according to a deed filed in Pinellas County Monday. The property last sold for $5.7 million to local developer The DeNunzio Group, which is currently building The Bluffs in Clearwater.
