Tampa's oldest surviving house, once tied to a $170 million Ponzi scheme, is now being sold as an office building for $1.8 million.

The home, built in 1842, was moved from Ybor City to the corner of Cleveland and Westland avenues in 2018 by real estate investor Brian Davison, who planned to restore the property. In early 2020, federal regulators charged Davison with running a $170 million Ponzi scheme, fraudulently raising money from 1,100 investors. He was sentenced to federal prison in August.
