Vacant Dunedin gas station to become high-end steakhouse, sushi bar

A local developer sees a “gap of food opportunity” in Dunedin and has plans to fill it with his dream restaurant.

Jason Mickool, local developer and CEO of Florida Financial Advisors, has plans to replace a vacant gas station at 2000 Bayshore Blvd. with a 3,700-square-foot, high-end restaurant. The restaurant, which might be named Bronze and Ash, will offer steaks, seafood and a sushi menu, which will be run by a Tampa sushi restaurant.
