Master-planned Kinfield to bring over 2,100 homes to Pasco County

An international real estate developer has broken ground on a 785-acre master-planned community in Pasco County.

Kinfield, as the community has been named, will rise at the northwest corner of Interstate 75 and State Road 52. Houston-based Hines — which partnered with the Tampa Bay Rays on their failed attempt at redeveloping Tropicana Field — is the master developer of Kinfield in partnership with landowner Krusen-Douglas LLC.
