St. Pete redevelopment projects promise affordable housing

A 15-unit affordable housing development designed to serve residents with special needs opened earlier this month.

The units at Founders Point Apartments at 2901 31st St. S are an example of the affordable housing efforts underway in St. Petersburg. Each unit includes a project-based voucher through the St. Petersburg Housing Authority and wraparound support services from the Boley Centers’ Living Independently, Connecting Communities Team. The project was funded by the Florida Housing Finance Corp., Pinellas County and the city of St. Pete.
