Largo manufacturer buys development site

A Largo industrial site suited for development was sold to a local manufacturer.

The 10.5-acre site at 2063 20th Ave., which has been used as an outdoor storage space for damaged vehicles following hurricanes Debby and Milton last year, sold for $8.6 million. Miami-based investment firm Sason sold the property to local manufacturer Hammer Haag Steel in an off-market sale that closed May 1. The property is suitable for the manufacturer to build its own facility.
