Clearwater office building could be reborn as private school campus

A Clearwater property is slated for redevelopment with a private school, child care center and therapeutic services.

Superior Schools Corp., a real estate development firm known for building schools as well as operating preschools and before and aftercare services in Tampa Bay, submitted a flexible development application to the city of Clearwater on May 30. The firm proposed a comprehensive infill redevelopment project at 861 N. Hercules Ave. with a private school, a child care center and therapeutic services such as counseling, occupational therapy, behavioral therapy and speech therapy.
