Tervis, onetime tumbler icon, vacates Sarasota County HQ of 20 years

Tervis, known for its double-walled plastic tumblers, has fully vacated the North Venice headquarters it called home for nearly 20 years.

The company — at its peak one of Florida's most iconic brands — exited Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in February. Tervis has been vacating space at 201 Triple Diamond Blvd. for months; in February, gaming company Combat Waffle Studios leased 23,349 square feet in the building. Global Sports Institute, a volleyball training facility, has since leased 42,451 square feet in the building.
