Tampa finally puts Army-Navy Surplus property up for bid

Tampa is seeking mixed-use development proposals for a 4-acre assemblage on the northern end of the urban core.

The properties, which are owned by the city and the Community Redevelopment Agency, include the long-watched Army-Navy Surplus Market property. In 2020, the city and the CRA paid $4.5 million for it. The assemblage includes the Royal Street Regional Lot.
