Tarpon Springs wants mixed-use ideas for vacant downtown property

Tarpon Springs is asking developers to take another shot at a mixed-use project on Tarpon Avenue.

The city’s Downtown Community Redevelopment Agency requested responses to an invitation to negotiate for an 8,100-square-foot lot at 144 E. Tarpon Ave. on Monday. It seeks a “creative, qualified firm” to acquire the CRA-owned property and develop a mix of uses, including retail, restaurant, residential and office.
