BayCare picks up Valrico property for freestanding ER

BayCare Health System Inc. has picked up another property for its growing Tampa Bay real estate portfolio.

The Clearwater-based health system paid $8.55 million for a property along State Road 60 in Valrico, Hillsborough County property records show. A spokesperson for BayCare said the health system plans to build a freestanding emergency room on the site.
