RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Ohio buyers pay $7.5 million for waterfront South Tampa home Juan Chinchilla and Angelyne Lisinski, a married couple from Ohio, closed on 1610 Culbreath Isles Drive on Thursday, according to Hillsborough County property records. US Bank NA provided a $5 million mortgage for the purchase, property records show.
Chinchilla, who owns JCF Construction LLC in Powell, Ohio, was not immediately available for comment Friday.
Patty Clark of Toni Everett Co. represented the seller, Liana Marante, in the transaction. Amanda Alvarez of Carpenter Realty Group in St. Petersburg represented the buyers.
The sales price breaks down to more than $1,400 per square foot, which is at the very top end of Tampa's luxury market.
Clark, who first listed the home for sale in October, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal that the lot, which is nearly half an acre, was a factor in the sale price.
The lot curves along Culbreath Isles drive and is at the end of a canal.
"There aren't a whole lot of properties like that that come available in Culbreath Isles," Clark said. "It was built in 2011, and it was built very strategically on that lot. It sprawls across the lot, and it’s absolutely gorgeous."
The home has five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a great room, a media room, a fitness room, formal dining room and a study. A resort-style pool overlooking the waterfront includes a covered outdoor kitchen, dining room and living room. The kitchen was renovated in 2020, according to listing materials. |
