RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Bayfront Health to build downtown St. Pete women's pavilion The women’s pavilion will be a three-story, 60,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art outpatient complex that will “be a technologically advanced facility dedicated to women’s health and wellness,” according to a release. It will have imaging tools for screening and diagnostic capabilities and a multispecialty practice.
Bayfront has selected Haskell Inc. to design and construct the facility, which is expected to open in early fall 2024.
“Construction of the Bayfront Health Women’s Pavilion and the partnership with Women’s Care will usher in the next generation of advanced health care for the region,” John Moore, president of Bayfront Health St. Pete, said in a release. “We are focused on growth and becoming the premiere destination for women’s care in Tampa Bay.”
Bayfront Health St. Pete is partnering with Women’s Care for the project, which will be built at 700 Sixth St. S on the east side of the Bayfront campus.
Women’s Care, based in Tampa, provides comprehensive patient care in obstetrics, gynecology, women’s health and cancer care. It will offer many of its services at the site. The company performs more than 2.4 million annual patient encounters and delivers more than 23,000 newborns annually.
“We are proud to partner with Bayfront Health St. Petersburg to deliver expert OB-GYN and specialty services,” Ellen Bower, COO of Women’s Care, said in a release. “The partnership aligns with our dedication to supporting the health and well-being of women in the local community.” |
